- "The best" is a very subjective term, Ronald, and the opinions on that
- will vary wildly. In the end you'll have to decide for yourself.
-
- Among the commercial titles, DLG, XenoLink, CNet, and Excelsior all have
- good reps and loyal followers. Non-commerical, Max's BBS is highly
- regarded by many, and don't forget good old Baud Bandit BBS (BBBBS) for a
- decent, functional system (although without networking like the others)
- that costs little to nothing. An unusual one is AxSh, which more or less
- looks and functions like a Unix remote login.
-
- My own personal preference is for DLG. I liked it so much, I bought the
- company (g). You might correctly assume my feelings on this are
- therefore not unbiased. :-) You can find our home system at (619)
- 549-7742, and there you will find a list of worldwide support systems
- that might prove more convenient.
-
- To make decisions like this easier for folks like you, we are close to
- releasing a demo of DLG. Excelsior and CNet already have demos out on
- the nets, and I don't know what the Xeno crew's plans are in this regard.
-
- Good luck!
